GenoLogics works with Garvan Institute of Medical Research to support cutting edge sequencing platform
Victoria, B.C. – January 29, 2014 – GenoLogics Life Sciences Software, a leading provider of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) specifically designed for omics labs, announced today that the coming release of Clarity LIMS will support next generation sequencing workflows and integrations for the Illumina HiSeq X™ Ten. The functionality will be used and beta-tested by the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney Australia.
Garvan, a Clarity LIMS customer since early 2013 and a HiSeq X™ Ten customer, will provide feeback on the LIMS functionality tailored for the HiSeq X™ Ten prior to the general release of the insturment support currently slated for March 2014.
“We are excited to support this groundbreaking platform from Illumina,” remarks Michael Ball, CEO of GenoLogics. “ We have enjoyed a unique relationship with Illumina for a number of years, leading to jointly developed LIMS integrations for all Illumina sequencers. Since Clarity LIMS is already installed in some of the largest genomics labs in the world, the HiSeq X™ Ten is an obvious next step in our support of Illumina customers.”
More information about the Clarity LIMS support for the HiSeqX™ Ten insturment will be presented at the
Advances in Genome Biology & Technology (AGBT) meeting next month.
